| | | | | | | KaiLight Photonics | | | | | Kailight Photonics Inc. aims to become a leading supplier of optical components and modules for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) applications. Kailight’s technology platform and products will enable the operation of fast, multi-wavelength, and transparent all-optical networks. The company’s first product, a multi-wavelength all-optical lambda converter, is designed to overcome channel blocking, to allow simple interoperability between network equipments of different suppliers and to better exploit the network resources and available bandwidth. Competing technologies today cannot offer comparable levels of cost and performance in comparison to KaiLight. A study conducted by RHK estimates that the market for next generation DWDM components will reach $4.1 Billion by 2004.
